Welcome to the DHS School Counseling Office

The mission of the DHS School Counseling department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement, and career/college readiness for 21st-century learners. In partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and the community, the school counselor provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access, and success for every student.

April 5th
2025 Destination College- College planning event for high school juniors and their families will take place at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This free event will feature college planning workshops sessions led by college representatives and school counselors on various elements of the college process. Register HERE.

April 15th

Granite Edvance in conjunction with the Dover High School Counseling Department will be hosting a webinar to help students and families learn about the college application and career exploration process on April 15, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. Register here.
