Welcome to the DHS School Counseling Office

The mission of the DHS School Counseling Department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement, and career/college readiness for 21st-century learners. In partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and the community, the school counselor provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access, and success for every student.

Granite Edvance will host free virtual college and career planning events. Topics include college majors and careers, the college essay, and support for the Common Application.
