Information on PSATs

A practice version of the College Board Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT),
known as the PSAT/NMSQT, measures verbal, writing, and mathematical
abilities important in college work. The PSAT/NMSQT is recommended for
use by sophomores and juniors who are thinking of going to college. It is
especially important for juniors seeking recognition and financial assistance
through scholarship programs administered by the National Merit
Scholarship Corporation.

Test Day Location: Dover High School
Test Date: Wed, Oct 12, 2022
Deadline to sign up: Friday, Sept 30 by 2:30 pm
Cost: $25


Sign up: Students interested in taking the test should see Mrs. Graves in
the Guidance Office to sign up.

Payment: Due at the time of registration, CASH or CHECK is accepted. Checks
are to be made payable to Dover High School. See your counselor for a fee waiver if needed.

Pre-administration: all students taking the PSAT are required to attend a
preadministration session before testing. Students will be signed up during
their flex for 1 day either 10/4, 10/5, or 10/6.
