Local Scholarship Opportunities:
Local scholarships are posted as they come in, with the majority coming in January and February.
Please keep checking this website for the most updated information.
The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (NHCF) awards over $8 million in scholarships to NH students each year. Many of these scholarships require you to live in New Hampshire, or even in a specific NH region. You don’t have to go to college in New Hampshire to receive a scholarship, but you do have to be a New Hampshire resident to apply. NHCF provides scholarships to both four-year degree students and two-year or trade students. Check out the NHCF website for more details and application deadlines.
The Granite Edvance Scholarship
Granite Edvance is pleased to offer scholarships each spring for NH undergraduate students. The scholarship is open to NH residents studying at two-year and four-year colleges and Title-IV eligible certificate/trade programs in or out of state. The 2024 scholarship application is now closed.The 2025 Granite Edvance Scholarship opens in March 2025.

Dover Police Charities Law Enforcement Scholarship This $1500 scholarship is awarded to a DHS graduating senior based on the following criteria: Aspiring to pursue a career in law enforcement, academic excellence, strong commitment to public service, passion for contributing to the safety and well-being of their community, going to a university/college. The Henry Clinton Fall Scholarship The scholarship will be awarded to a DHS graduating senior who is aspiring to a science education career, academic excellence in the sciences and mentoring other students in the sciences. Marion and Dave David Memorial Scholarship Criteria: This scholarship is given to a DHS graduating senior. The recipient shall have worked and/or volunteered a minimum of 200 hours during the last year at DHS, excluding summer work. See application for complete details. The David Family Scholarship This $1000 scholarship is awarded to a graduating DHS student who 1) has been diagnosed with dyslexia, or a form of dyslexia and 2) aspires to any form of postgraduate education, including trade school, an apprenticeship, or college. Seacoast Artist Association Art Scholarship The Seacoast Artist Association is offering an art scholarship of at least $500 to a senior pursuing a degree in the Visual Arts in a 2 or 4 year program. Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce 2025 Academic Year Student Scholarship The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce will award a one-time $1,000 scholarship to a student accepted to a postsecondary education institution. Jenna M. Pellegrini Memorial Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Dover High School or resident of Barrington, NH graduating from another high school. Preference will be given to seniors who have participated in the High School Softball Team. |

Rochester Elks Lodge Scholarship Fund This scholarship was created to support current graduating High School seniors from the surrounding communities within a 20 mile radius of the Rochester lodge, who have parents, grandparents or great grandparents that are current members of the lodge in good standing. Derry Medical Center Charitable Foundation Scholarship Criteria: Dover High School Seniors in the top 25% of their class who are pursuing a career in the healing arts.
