Dover High School provides a wide range of athletic programs. The school competes in New Hampshire Division I (large schools - 1,200 or more enrollments) in all sports except boys ice hockey.

Congratulations to the Dover High School Seniors who have been recognized as some of the “state’s finest student-athletes” at the New Hampshire High Schools Male and Female Athletic/Academic Award Program.  Although this awards program is typically held at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, the Covid-19 pandemic forced this year’s program to be captured Virtually for the 2020-21 senior class.   The Dover High School Seniors who have been chosen as a recipients have actively participated in at least two (2) NHIAA recognized sports through their senior year, they have at least a B+ cumulative Grade Point Average, and are a positive member of the Dover School community.

The New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (N.H.I.A.A) created the video (click link below to view video) to honor this years recipients.  The Dover High School Marketing department has edited the video to show our Dover High School honorees.

We are offering the convenience of online registration for our High School and Middle School sports programs. The only form being accepted in the Athletics Office is the physical exam form. Everything else must now be completed online.  Online registration for all Sports will be through our partner company FAMILY.ID

Note: The only paper/hard form being accepted in the athletic office is the physical exam form. All other necessary forms for athletic participation MUST be done online.

Family ID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our athletic programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through Family ID, you enter your information once for multiple uses, multiple kids and multiple programs.

PHYSICAL EXAMS: A physical exam, signed by a physician, is valid for 2 years from the date of the exam. However, it must carry the athlete through their entire sports season. If the student’s physical expires during the season, he/she will not be able to practice or play until a new physical exam is received. New physicals must be turned in to the Coach or the Athletic Office.
