DHS Spring Sports Start Dates/Times/Locations

 

Dover High School’s Spring Sports Teams will begin practices and tryouts on and at the following dates and times:

 

DHS Outdoor Track, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Tennis, and Boys Volleyball will begin on Monday, March 24th.  Times and locations will be given out by their coaches.

 

DHS Unified Volleyball and DMS Sports will begin on Monday, March 31st. Times and locations will be given out by their coaches.

 

Please check your emails and SportsYou accounts to be updated on whether tryouts/practices will be in the gym or outside. Coaches have a gym schedule if our fields are not ready.

 

All student-athletes and their parent/guardian are required to complete an on-line athletic registration prior to the first practice/tryout through our new registration platform, FinalForms, at https://dover-nh.finalforms.com/.  All student-athletes will be charged a $150 service fee after teams have been selected and rosters have been established for the season.  Those student-athletes who qualify for “reduced lunch” will receive a reduced service fee while those student-athletes who qualify for “free lunch” will receive a waiver of the service fee.

**Please be aware that once you have paid for two sports during the 2024-25 school year, per athlete, the third sport is Free.

 

All student-athletes must have a physical examination prior to the first practice/tryout. Physicals are valid for a two-year period from date of issuance.  Physicals will be offered at Seacoast Orthopedics located on 7 Marsh Brook Drive, Building A Somersworth, NH 03878.

Every student-athlete should come prepared to workout on the first day.  Additionally, each athlete should bring their own water bottle for practices and tryouts.
