Teacher Workshop Day
There will be no school for students on Friday, March 18th. It is a professional development day for faculty and staff.
School Day SAT for Juniors
All juniors will take the SAT in school on Wednesday, March 23rd as part of the New Hampshire State Assessment system. All other students will have a normal school day with some changes to class locations and teachers as teachers serve as proctors. Junior families will receive a separate email with details of how the day works for juniors.

Summer Tech Camps Opportunities for Students and Staff

ASVAB Testing
Dover High School is offering the ASVAB on April 12th at 8am in Room 115. You must be a sophomore, junior or senior to take the exam. The ASVAB is a great way to learn about your strengths and weaknesses as they relate to different career choices. If you would like to sign up for the ASVAB please stop in the Counseling Office and sign up with Mrs. Graves.
Prom/Formal Dress Sale
The National Honor Society is hosting a sale of a variety of prom and formal dresses during Flex from March 22nd to 25th or after school from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on March 24th and March 25th. Dresses will be sold for $20 (cash only). All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Cash only! Dress donations will be accepted through March 21. If you are interested in donating please email [email protected]."
Spring SportsPlease find attached information concerning how to register for Spring Sports. Spring Sports begin on Monday, March 21st.
Athletic Eligibility for Quarter III
Athletic eligibility for spring sports is based on 2nd Quarter grades, not the overall grade for a semester class. Continued athletic eligibility and participation on a spring sports team is dependent upon Quarter III grades which will be distributed on Friday, April 8th.
Graduation and Senior Awards
The Dover School Board approved Thursday, June 9th as the graduation date for the Class of 2022. The ceremony will be held on Dunaway Field here on the campus of Dover High School at 7:00 pm. The rain date is Friday, June 10th with the ceremony being held at 7:00 pm. Senior Awards will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 6:30 pm. This event will be held in the auditorium. Information on these events will be put out in March.

Destination College
Destination College is New Hampshire's statewide college planning event and is designed to help high school juniors and their families prepare for entry into college. This annual statewide college planning convention is held each spring through the collaborative efforts of The NHHEAF Network and New Hampshire colleges and universities. All the day's events are FREE to students and parents. Destination College 2022 is a VIRTUAL event and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This event will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Senior Prom
The Senior Prom will be held on Saturday May 21st in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building on the campus of the University of New Hampshire. The event will be open to seniors and approved guests and will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Information will be coming regarding ticket sales and other details.

Girls State
The American Legion Auxiliary-Department of New Hampshire will be holding its annual Girls State from Sunday, June 26, 2022 through Saturday, July 2, 2022 on the campus of St. Anselm College. Girls State is a week-long training course in the study and practical application of self-government. It is meant to supplement Civics or American Government as it is taught in high schools across the state and is planned so students can put the theories of American government as taught in the classroom into practice. Boys State
New Hampshire’s Department of the American Legion will be holding its 75th annual Boys State from Sunday, June 26, 2022 through Friday, July 1, 2022 on the campus of St. Anselm College.
