Virtual Open House
Dover High School’s Open House will be virtual this year. It will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. You are invited to join a Google Meet that each of your student(s’) teachers will be hosting. Tomorrow at 4:30 pm you will receive an email with a link that provides the code for each teacher’s Virtual Open House Google Classroom. The code allows you to join the Google Meet where the teacher will provide curriculum and other relevant course information. Please use the link to follow your student(s’) Green and White Schedule as listed below. If your student has a study hall schedule, there will be no Meet during that time.
This night is designed to give an overview of the course and its expectations. For individual questions on your student(s’) progress, please email the teacher. For a teacher who is not present, please email them with any questions.
The schedule for the night is below. For Block 1 Green you use the link to get the code for that class. You then follow that procedure for each block that your student(s”) have a scheduled class. The teacher will let you into the meet for each class.

You will find information below on how to download the Google Meet app. This is being provided today so you have time to load the app. The directions are attached as well.
Helpful hints:
If you plan to access the Virtual Open House on your phone or tablet it is recommended to download the Google Meet app prior Open House day. This will save you having to download and potentially missing time with the teacher you are hoping to see. Please see the lists below for supported operating systems and browsers.

Advanced Placement Exams
Registration for AP Tests is now open! The cost is $96 per exam. Checks or cash can be brought to Mrs. Digregorio in the Guidance Office to register. Deadline to register is Oct. 29th at 2:30pm. Testing will take place from May 2nd to May 13th. See Mrs. Cote or Mrs. Chase if you have any questions.
I Am College Bound Day
I Am College Bound is one of Dover High’s School’s most successful efforts at supporting students in the college application process. This event will be held during the school day on Friday, November 5th. It allows students to review their college application materials with an admissions representative, submit applications to New Hampshire colleges for free, and all students who submit an application that day are entered into a raffle to win a $500 scholarship. Seniors should sign up in the School Counseling Office to sign up as soon as possible.
Senior Information- Caps and Gowns
It is time for seniors to start ordering caps and gowns. The process will be done on-line this year through the distributor, Balfour. Please see the link below to complete this process by December 3, 2021.

Yearbook Information for Seniors
The deadline for senior submissions to the yearbook, October 23, 2021, is rapidly approaching. Please see the attached document for specific information that applies to seniors and how yearbooks can be ordered.
Josten’s has updated the submission URL to https://images.jostens.com/416204455 (Enter the DHS photo submission code: 416204455). This change is reflected in the attached document with guidelines for yearbook submissions.
