Adopt a DHS Senior, a project to spread joy

Diane McCombie, the mother of graduating senior Megan McCombie, has come up with a campaign to spread joy to our graduates. Diane created a public Facebook group page offering Dover High School seniors up for adoption, sort of speaking. The group has grown to more than 550 members and has already facilitated the adoption of 104 members of the Class of 2020.

The Adopt a DHS Senior campaign encourages Dover residents and businesses to spread the love for the Class of 2020 by sending their adopted senior a letter, card, sweet treat, gift card/basket, flowers, or some other token to recognize graduation, such a milestone event.

The goal is to get every single member of the class adopted. But we need your help. We need you, or a family member to post your senior. It’s easy. To participate, head to Facebook and search for the public group “Adopt A DHS Senior”.
