School Counseling Department

Welcome to the DHS School Counseling Office

The mission of the DHS School Counseling department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement and career/college readiness for 21st century learners. In partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and community, the school counselor provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access and success for every student.

Upcoming Events:

10/31/17 & 11/1/17: A second financial aid event will be a fun & interactive presentation by New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) for seniors during the school day on Oct. 31st and Nov. 1st.  There will be a presentation once every block for Seniors in the Frederick C. Walker Auditorium over the course of the two days.  Seniors must sign up in the School Counseling Office by 10/27 to attend one of the presentations.
