The Guided Pathway Support Program (GPS) helps African-American juniors and seniors navigate the path to top colleges by directing students to the most comprehensive and reliable resources available.  This free program, teaches students how to prepare for, apply to, pay for, persist in and graduate from college.

The Portsmouth, NH chapter of the American Hellenic Education and Progressive Association (AHEPA) Scholarship:
For graduating seniors residing in the area and attending a Seacoast High School.
Last year we awarded $3,500 in scholarships to five students from three different high schools. This year we hope to award as much as $6,000 in scholarships. The awards will be granted on the basis of scholastic achievement, community service, and need.
This year we are asking students to apply online at
The form should be completed by midnight April 21, 2017, to be considered for the scholarship.
The decision on the recipient of the scholarship will be made by the Portsmouth AHEPA Scholarship Committee.

NH AFL-CIO 2017 Scholarships

This year, the NH AFL-CIO will again award scholarships to members in good standing of an affiliated local union, their spouses, children, stepchildren, grandchildren or legal wards.  First prize is $1,000.  Additional prizes are contingent on funding.

Essays and application forms must be received no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday May 26, 2017 by the NH AFL-CIO Scholarship Committee, 161 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett, NH 03106.
